41°C - aT THE ZENITH
On the northern edge of Dresden, three sites share a single landscape: a semiconductor plant rising out of an open construction pit, the river waterworks being built to feed its thrist and a nature reserve holding its ground nearby. Sold as the machinery of the green transition, the fab will draw electricity of a small power station and the water of a whole city - beside the living ground it claims to save.
Photographed in hard daylight, without golden hour or flattering blur, these images refuse to choose between cure and harm. They holt the Anthropocene at its most hybrid: the constructed and the living pressed against one another, the verdict let deliberately open.
